Servings: Makes Approximately 20 Bars

¾ cup butter, softened
½ cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
½ Tbsp vanilla
½ cup applesauce
2 cups all-purpose flour
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ tsp allspice
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp ground nutmeg
½ tsp ground ginger
2 ½ cups oats
¼ cup vegetable oil
1 ½ cups dried cranberries
Cinnamon sugar (for topping)

¾ cups powdered sugar
½ Tbsp milk
¼ tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Liberally spray 9”x13” ceramic pan with non-stick cooking spray.  Cream together butter and sugars.  Add eggs, vanilla and applesauce.  In a separate bowl combine the flour, oats, spices, baking soda and salt.  Add the wet ingredients and mix until well combined.  Add oil and cranberries.  Spoon batter into prepared pan and sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes, or until firm.  Let cool and cut into desired shape for bars. Drizzle with glaze.

For glaze, whisk glaze ingredients together and drizzle over baked bars.
