Kelly’s Famous Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
A guest favorite! “Try one with a cup of Chateau Tivoli’s coffee and life couldn’t get any better!”
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup Rodelle Gourmet Baking Cocoa (it’s the best)
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 cups rolled oats
Preheat oven to 350. Beat butter with sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix dry ingredients into wet; mix well. Stir in oats.
Use small ice cream scoop to shape dough. Place on parchment paper on cookie sheet. Bake 12 minutes (more or less, depending upon your oven). Cool and enjoy.
