Built in 1874 as Ojai’s first schoolhouse, the Craftsman style inn hosts 8 rooms, each with its unique decor and art. The Provence Cottage has a living room and bedroom with French doors that open to a private backyard, fireplace, 2 TVs, WIFI, and kitchenette. Continental breakfasts are created with fresh, local ingredients with in-house made baked goods from our baker Sam. Evening complimentary wine is enjoyed on the veranda overlooking the elegant gardens, pond, fountains, mature oaks, and, of course, a variety of lavenders. The location is ideal location, across from the village galleries, restaurants and shops, yet it provides an elegant, secluded retreat. The Lavender Inn is available for destination Garden Weddings, intimate Cottage Weddings, Elopements and Bridal Retreats. Wellness and business retreats are also popular at Lavender Inn.
