The minibar products are sourced from underrepresented suppliers to foster positive social impact. The collaboration aligns with the hotel’s commitment to sustainability and community engagement, providing guests with unique, socially responsible in-room amenities. Current offerings include snacks from Orchard Valley Harvest, which donates a percentage of its sales to combat childhood hunger in America, and canned wine from Bev, which is a women-owned company on a mission to revolutionize drinking culture.

The “comp coolers” at R Inn Napa are a generous and unexpected highlight of any stay in one of the hotel’s Loft Suites. The Petit Soleil’s thoughtfully curated minibars are a tour of San Luis Obispo’s finest local snack purveyors and a deep dive into the hotel’s beverage-forward identity. Guests will find everything they need to craft their own cocktails including locally sourced artisan spirits, chilled mixers, barware, and a variety of glassware. One of the highlights of the minibars are hotel’s house-made bottled cocktails, all featuring a French undercurrent. Their spin on a classic Manhattan, for example, is made with French calvados, bonal gentiane quina, rye whiskey, bigallet china china, and bitters. They also offer a smattering of local beers and low intervention (i.e. ‘natural’) wines. To balance out the boozy offerings, the minibars also feature delicious sweet and salty snacks by local producers Mamma Ganache Artisan Chocolates and Cattaneo Bros.

Short Stories Hotel

Taking great pride in the West Hollywood neighborhood and the vibrant city of Los Angeles as a whole, the Short Stories Hotel team provides an authentic, local experience for guests.
