Important Update: Gift Certificate Program Ending
Thank you for your continued support of California’s independent inns and boutique lodging properties! We’re grateful to everyone who has shared the gift of travel through the CABBI Gift Certificate Program over the years.
We are in the process of phasing out this program and will no longer be issuing or selling new gift certificates after November 20, 2025.
If you currently hold a valid association gift certificate:
- Your certificate will continue to be honored at participating member properties.
- Certificates do not expire and retain their full value until redeemed.
- Balances under $10 may be redeemed for cash upon request, as required by California law.
Please note that individual inn participation and policies may vary, so we recommend contacting your chosen property in advance to confirm acceptance before booking your stay. If you are unable to find a participating inn that you would like to visit, please contact the CABBI office for assistance.
We appreciate your understanding as we wind down this program and continue finding new ways to support and promote California’s unique lodging experiences.

Please note that CABBI gift certificates are the same as cash and cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed. CABBI Gift Certificates may only be used at active, current participating member properties regardless of the date of purchase, date of booking, or date of reservation. Individual inn policies apply to all stays and inns have the right to apply restrictions on reservations using a CABBI gift certificate. Applying specials and/or packages to stays using a CABBI gift certificate is up to the discretion of the participating inn.
